Climashield® Insulation Showcases Durable Warmth at New ISPO Textrends Forum

MUNICH, Feb. 3, 2013 – After delivering premium insulation technology to popular U.S. brands over the past 30 years, Climashield® today announced at ISPO Munich (Hall C2, Stand 362) that its brand has been selected by several renowned European outdoor apparel manufacturers, including Direct Alpine, Helikon-Tex® and Tilak. When compared with competitor insulations, Climashield® consistently accomplished higher thermal efficiency at any given weight.

Suited to extreme cold weather conditions, Climashield®’s signature continuous filament insulation is resilient in harsh environments, holding its original shape after multiple uses and launderings. In fact, after 20 washings, Climashield® maintains 95 percent of its warmth, while the competition provides only 60 percent of its original warmth. And with AquaBan® technology, Climashield® insulation stays warm, even when wet, by repeling water and expediting the drying process.
