Die Regierung Gr\u00f6nlands hat einen zehnj\u00e4hrigen Plan zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung des Tourismus <\/a>angek\u00fcndigt, mit dem Ziel, die Lebensqualit\u00e4t seiner 56.865 Einwohner zu verbessern, von denen 89 % Inuit sind.<\/p>\n\n

Im vergangenen Jahr landete der erste internationale Flug \u00fcberhaupt in Nuuk<\/a>, der Hauptstadt des autonomen d\u00e4nischen Gebiets. Im Jahr 2026 sollen zwei weitere internationale Flugh\u00e4fen er\u00f6ffnet werden, was den Beginn einer neuen \u00c4ra des Tourismus<\/a> auf der gr\u00f6\u00dften Insel der Welt markieren wird. <\/p>\n\n

Ver\u00e4nderungen im Arktis-Tourismus<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Jahrzehntelang war Gr\u00f6nland trotz seiner atemberaubenden Natursch\u00f6nheit nur ein Randgebiet im globalen Tourismus<\/a>. Um in Nuuk anzukommen, einer lebhaften Stadt, die von dramatischen, schneebedeckten Gipfeln umgeben ist, mussten die Besucher in Kangerlussuaq umsteigen. Von diesem ehemaligen US-Milit\u00e4rst\u00fctzpunkt aus, der nur 508 Einwohner beherbergt, brachten sie kleine Turboprops in die Hauptstadt. <\/p>\n\n

Trotz der schwierigen Reisebedingungen ist das Interesse an Gr\u00f6nland stetig gestiegen, wobei der Tourismus allein in den letzten drei Jahren um \u00fcber vierzig Prozent zugenommen hat. Die Erweiterung der touristischen Infrastruktur ist eine direkte Reaktion auf diesen Trend, und das Naalakkersuisut \u2013 was auf Gr\u00f6nl\u00e4ndisch \u201eRegierung\u201c hei\u00dft \u2013 plant, die Chancen zu nutzen. <\/p>\n\n

Traditionell war die Fischerei der wichtigste Sektor der Wirtschaft der Insel und macht \u00fcber neunzig Prozent ihrer Exporte aus. Bis jetzt kam die \u00fcberwiegende Mehrheit der Besucher an Bord von Kreuzfahrtschiffen in die Arktisregion<\/a>. Die j\u00fcngste Infrastrukturentwicklung k\u00f6nnte jedoch dazu beitragen, diesen umstrittenen Trend zu \u00e4ndern. Zu den Bedenken, die von Experten gegen diese Art des Reisens ge\u00e4u\u00dfert werden, geh\u00f6ren das Risiko von Kraftstofflecks, die St\u00f6rung der Tierwelt und hohe Emissionen. Derzeit findet ein Wandel hin zum Abenteuertourismus statt. <\/p>\n\n

Gletscherwandern, Kajakfahren zwischen Eisbergen, Reisen zu warmen Quellen, Hundeschlittenfahren und Walbeobachtung sind nur einige Beispiele f\u00fcr die endlosen nachhaltigen Reisem\u00f6glichkeiten auf der Insel.
