For more than 50 years, Climashield® has worked with the U.S. Military to develop a custom insulation product for the extreme requirements of tactical applications, continuously surpassing the competition in rigorous tests in warmth-to-weight ratio. Our insulation can be found on the inside of sleep systems, shelters and uniforms that protect the Marines, Army, Air Force, Navy, and Special Forces.

Black Yak

Founded in 1973 in Seoul, Black Yak is dedicated to providing high climbers with the toughest, most technically advanced gear that can be trusted even in the Himalayan death zone. From working with the best designers to the meticulous production and testing process, Black Yak products are engineered to perform, and they trust Climashield^® to protect in extreme cold weather without the additional bulk. In 2016, the company entered the European and US markets and subsequently won eleven ISPO Awards, eight of which were gold.

The longest continuous producer of military tents in the country, Camel Manufacturing has provided soldiers with shelter and safety since 1919. Using only the highest-quality materials to combat conditions in the field, Camel chose Climashield^® for their Extreme Weather Liner, designed to maintain comfortable temperatures in transitory shelters during operational use.

Tilak

From design to production, Tilak’s team of outdoor enthusiasts focus on delivering quality without compromise. Each component material is subjected to numerous tests to ensure that it will stand up in the field. After noticing that other insulation products were losing warmth over time, Tilak began using highly resilient Climashield® insulation in a variety of outerwear pieces in their winter product portfolio, including jackets, vests, and pants.
